The weekends have been busy lately and they will continue to be so for some more weeks. The previous two weeks have been occupied by family days at Norida’s work. The weekend 2-3/8 was for her department and weekend 9-10/8 was for her faculty.
The department one were located near Port Dickson and a over night stay. It started with a barbecue on Saturday evening and games on Sunday morning. Our group did well and won the competition. Aida and Adam kept enjoying their time by the beach and kept playing in the sand. Pictures later. A nice and enjoyable weekend, though I had problem with my tummy and Adam had a bit of fever, so he wasn’t as active as usual.
The faculty day started with some happening on Friday, which the kids and I skipped. We joined in on Saturday competing in some of the events. I did OK in golf, but the kids are definitely not very competitive, except when they just have each other.
There were a game were you are supposed to gather candies on a blanket and most candies win. Adam and Aida started crying when it was too crowded. Adam got satisfied when he got a hand full of candy. After that he just got his candy and went away to eat his candy. Aida competed in a relay as well, where you were supposed to carry water in a sponge and squeeze the water into a bottle. And the most water wins.
Sunday was supposed to be relaxing, but we got visitors so that went out the window. It turned out to be a pleasant day and the kids enjoyed having three of their cousins around.
