Hope you will have a Happy Easter. I will be working so I will not bother that much. I would get the kids Easter eggs, if a knew where to find them. Don't remember seeing anything in the stores. It's certainly not like in UK or Sweden. In Sweden they consume 1kg of candy per person over Easter. Or rather that is how much candy that is sold for Easter. It should be possible to eat 1kg, if you get all of the Easter weekend to do it in. After all I managed to finish my 400g After Eight box I got under the Christmas tree before the end of the day some Christmases.
I will have some eggs for breakfast tomorrow and maybe get some chocolate as well but that’s how Eastery it going to get, I think
Not very much updates lately. I have been busy, didn't think there were anything to write and I just couldn’t be bothered.
The kids are doing quite well. No major colds or other diseases. They spent last week as home as their Poh-Poh (maternal grand-mother) were here.
Abang Lim (my oldest brother in law) and his family stayed over night when leaving for Sabah (via KLIA) and afternoon coming back.
So I got kitchen duty on both times. I made waffles for the stop by supper and Tom-Yum and Sauce Bolognese for the stop by before going home.
Shah (another brother in law) with wife with round tummy (another cousin for Aida and Adam) came to pick up his kids as school started on Monday and Poh-Poh had to stay longer. I made a really yummy cake as I wanted to finish off the whipping cream left over after the waffles.
I made a Swedish type sponge cake ("sockerkaka") as base with raspberry yam and custard in between and sliced peaces as decoration.
