Adam 5-6-5

Adam is getting bigger. Not much of a surprise.

On Friday he managed to walk 5 steps.
Followed it up with walking 6 steps on Saturday.
Haven't managed to beat that yet. As far as I am aware. But he's getting steadier and start trying to run with his sister. Usually stands up walk two-three steps to the thing he want to play with or reach. Instead of using the support of the thing to get up. Start getting worried about him. Really jumps up and try to run and he is a specialist in bumping his had even before. No majopr falls yet though. Usually managed to land on his but after the walk. You just have to be ready if you are his goal.

Got his 5th tooth yesterday or was it on Tuesday. No it was Tuesday. Cause he been sleeping much better afterwards, which means Norida and me have been sleeping better as well.

Aida start making more sentences, though she get the words in the wrong order. Mostly in Malay though so I have to ask nNorida what she is saying. I am very slow in learning and usually don't have any time to sit down and try to learn.

LUNCH

Aaaaah, that was a nice lunch. Cost me RM 3.50.

I may have many complains about Malaysian food, especially the one cooked for special occasions. Which basically contains so much fat you could run a small tractor for a week on the amount of cooking oil and fat used cooking the food. A slight exaguration!

Anyway I didn't start writing to whine about the food but to praise it. Nasi Champur or Mixed rice must be the best invention for lunch time ever.
You get you rice and then you pick whatever you want of the wide selection of dishes. Like the place I go to, they must have like 50 odd dishes to choose from. I don't know how many kinds of chicken they have. (Kicap, 2 different curries, Fried, Grilled, Tomato, Sambal and some more), Couple of other meat dishes. Three or four types of fried fishes plus a tomato fish, salty fish in kicap, sardines and probably missed something here as well. Four types of Tofu, Tempeh, at least five types of mixed veggie, four types of beans, two cabbages, three leafy vegetables. Fried egg, egge sambal, salty egg and ommelette. Plus 7 or so different noddles and some frid rice and Nasi Lemak. Can't remeber all but I like the choices of veggies.

Today I had Tomato fish, mixed veggie (cauliflower, broccoli and carrot) and mixed veggie 2 (beans, fish cake, carrot) and a bit of sambal belacan. Scrumptious. And all was spiced up with hunger as I forgot my fruits today.

Car problem

Tuesday- Got off to work as usual. Reached the first toll on my way to work. Somebody had problem with their pass card so I thought I better change to the other lane. Put in the first gear and pushed the accelerator, nothing happened. Because my engine had stopped. So I try to restart, start engine working but not a sign of life from the engine itself. After some fiddling and some help from the highway personnel, was the conclusion that the timing belt was broken. SO had to call for a tow truck. Norida had to come and take care of the car as I had a test to run at 11:00. She got that settled, timing belt changed. Then she went to get new speakers in the car. The one that broke a long long time ago. When I came back from work she told me that the oil warning lamp had started showing. Great, more problem. Checked the car, got enough oil and no visible leaks, sop started the engine. The oil warning keep flashing (like 25Hz or so). Thought it might just be a electric problem. But as I am not that good with cars, I thought it was better to get the car checked anyway.

Wednesday- Norida borrowed her friends car, while I used the Wira. Turned out the only problem with the oil was the electric signal. But got it to the workshop anyway. Changed the ball bearings and got the car serviced as well. So IA (hopefully) it will run smoothly for a long period now.

Aida keep staying at home as PohPoh and her cousins are here visiting. Seem like they spend most of the time in front of the TV though. I am sure PohPoh chase them out to play in the play ground as well.

Weekend 10-11/3

Another busy weekend. Not too bad actually, I just had to attend a convocation cermony on Saturday. Ate too much of the Buffe.

Adam has got his 4th tooth as well. The second left one up. So he have the two middle ones down and the two first teeth to the left up. But the right middle tooth up is soon through as well.

Aida is doing OK, her tummy his much better know. And the most important news. She had her first dry day yesterday!!!!! No nappy all day and no wetting of her panties.

She will be really happy this afternoon when her favourite cousin is coming, together with his sister, their step mum and one of her older cousins. Of course her grandma is coming as well. She been talking about is since Norida told her on Thursday. Will probably be impossible to get her to go to the nursery this week. Probably want to stay home playing with her Kak-kaks and Abang and PohPoh.

Busy

Been really busy, so I haven't had mucg time for updates. I when I have had times I had problems to get inot the blog site.

What have happened since last.

25/2 Adam got his third tooth.

28/2 (I think) Adam took his first 2 steps.

Still haven managed very much more than that. But he really likes walking when someone is holding is hand. He give us a big smile with all is three teeth.

Aida still keep having porblem with her pooing. Getting better thanks to a new medicine. Hope it lasts even after the medicine.

Both kids and wife is having problem with colds. So there been some nights on the sofa with Aida and kids in the bed.
